Fragrances & Flavours Association of India

FAFAI is a non-profit Indian organization whose inception traces back to 1949, when, in the post-independence era, the perfumery sector, though rich in tradition, remained fragmented and constrained by high taxes, import restrictions, and complex regulations.

The grit of perfume connoisseurs, passionate manufacturers, and traders became the driving force behind the formation of a collaborative association solely dedicated to the consolidation of India’s perfumery industry. The vision on the table was simple: “India has a renewed potential, and we must take it to new heights by confronting any challenges that come our way.”
